According to the notice, from 8:11 to 13:04 on 2026-10-15 Beijing time, DeepSeek’s service system experienced an outage, preventing the API service from being used normally during that period. DeepSeek sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience and disruption the outage caused users.
DeepSeek said it immediately launched a comprehensive review of service stability and implemented thorough corrective measures, comprehensively identifying and eliminating single points of dependency to firmly prevent similar problems from happening again.
As compensation, DeepSeek will fully refund, in the form of credits, the amount each user account spent within 7 days (10.8-10.14). The credits will be added automatically, and API billing charges will be deducted from the credit balance first.
